Building Management is responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of common areas. Please email the team to report any non-urgent matters.
For repairs and maintenance within your apartment (not common property), please contact a tradesperson of your choice. Building Management can provide details of suitably qualified trades if required.
Building Management don’t keep spare keys for Angus House apartments. Please contact a locksmith if you need new keys for your front door or letterbox.
Additional or replacement fobs, garage remotes or master keys (to access the fire stair doors etc) can be requested from Building Management using the form available here.
Each unit has an individual hot water unit servicing only that lot, generally located in the laundry. Owners are responsible for the repair, maintenance and replacement these units as required.
Within your unit, individual stop valves for hot and cold water are generally located in the laundry or under your kitchen sink.
Residents pay an individual access charge from Sydney Water; make sure to update your contact details with Sydney Water when moving into the building.
General garbage and recycling can be disposed of using bins located in the garbage room on ground floor, next to the mailboxes. Garbage and recycling is collected by City of Sydney Council on Thursday mornings.
Residents are asked to please not leave large items on the floor next to bins. If required, please arrange a bulky item collection free of charge with City of Sydney Council.
New residents should connect their electricity with the provider of their choice. Your preferred provider should be able to connect your service with either your address or meter number, which is can be provided by Building Management if required.
Electricity meters are located throughout the building and read manually. They can be accessed by contacting Building Management.
The building is connected to the NBN and ADSL is also available. Residents can connect their phone and internet services with the provider of their choice, who should be able to set up your connection without accessing the building. If access is required to the Main Distribution Frame, please contact Building Management.
The building is Foxtel-ready: residents should contact them directly to arrange their connection.
Angus House is pet-friendly, however applications need to be submitted to the Strata Committee for approval.

The Angus House by-laws outline the rules of the building, including noise levels, renovations and taking care of our common property.
The by-laws can be downloaded from the library section of our resident portal or contact Building Management to request a copy.
The Strata Committee (SC) makes decisions about how the building is run and provide instructions to Strata and Building Management about projects and capital works. All owners are eligible to join the SC; members are elected annually at our Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The SC meets throughout the year (usually quarterly). Owners are welcome to attend these meetings, however they are not allowed to participate unless invited to by a Committee member.
